  1. Open App store and update your application with the latest version. If you somehow can’t see the update button make sure you are not accessing the cache copy of the page. To verify you are not accessing the cache check the what’s new section in the app store you will see Face ID has been updated in the application if it’s not written in the section it means you are accessing the cache page.
  2. Once you updated the app with the latest version open Whatsapp and head over to Settings > Account > Privacy > Screen Lock.
  3. In Screen Lock Page tap on option Face ID.
  4. Now Turn on Face ID option and then tap on the option immediately to enable face verification. You may select the time duration to 1 minute or other mentioned in the face id option to activate the ID option in that timeframe.
